I am a 22 year old college student from Shawnee, KS! For the last four years, I have gone to school at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, and just recently moved back home to finish my degree online this fall, with my impending graduation scheduled for December 2019. I will be graduating with a degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and two minors in Graphic Design and Professional Writing.
In my free time, I love to hang out with my friends, read, and exercise! During high school I was able to stay active through sports and working out in my parent’s home gym, but after moving away to college I found it more and more difficult to find ways to make time for and enjoy exercise. After a few years off, I got back into it and absolutely love it!
Now that I have moved back to the Kansas City area, I am getting excited about exploring the city more. In the three weeks I have been home, I have been to multiple concerts, festivals, museums, and parks. Once I finish my degree, I would love to look into taking some art and cooking classes, and can’t wait to see more of what this awesome city has to offer for a young adult.
